What makes Mag-aso different from other waterfalls is the fog- like effect of strong water pressure that falls down from the high place. There are many things to do in Mag-aso falls such as swimming, sightseeing and hiking. This place is best for family or company outing. It has facilities such as swimming pools for adults and kids and picnic areas in which grilling station is provided.
Where to stay in Mag-aso Falls?
If you plan to stay overnight or over the weekend, there are several cottages available for this purpose however you need to reserve ahead of your visiting day to make sure you will be accommodated. For a day outing, there is an open cottage provided within the area.
How to get there?
Going to Magaso falls is not a problem. If your point of origin is Manila, it took an hour flight from Manila to Bacolod airport. Upon arrival to the airport, you can get a shuttle bus going to Ceres Bus Terminal South bound. From there you took a bus going to Kabankalan City, once you arrive in the city proper you can hire a tricycle going to Mag-aso falls. However if you wish to have a more comfortable ride, you can hire a taxi or rent a car that will bring you to the place.
